Question how does this ITG Ducati filter stay in place? Is it secured or merely placed over the the intake tubes. My 996 has the carbon racing airbox fitted and has had a similar filter fitted (not sure what make) but alas didn't do its job very well and the engine has eaten some debris and needs an engine overhaul. i am keen to get a good reliable filter.
Yes this ITG Foam filter just pushes over the ram pipes and that is how it is held in place, it should be quite a tight fit over the pipes.
