2 questions, both regarding the aluminium filler neck on this component. Firstly, what is the length of the tube itself? Also, what alloy is it made of and at what thickness? I need to make sure it will be possible to weld onto the current filler assembly.
The total length of the item (with the cap fitted) is 60mm. Length without the cap fitted is 50mm. The wall thickness of the neck is 5mm. The material is 6082-T6. This alloy material is weldable, we sell a lot of them to Alloy Fabrication companies for welding to tank
